If you’re passing through Miami and you’re a fan of film, fashion and art, there’s an event you can’t absolutely miss. From March 8-10th, Miami Design District hosts the conceptual event – Fashion in Film Festival. Miami Design Agenda presents you with all the details and everything you need to know about this festival.
Miami Design District has a vast selection of art, design and fashion throughout the places that are distributed along the district, since eccentric fashion stores, to exceptional museums. This time, from March 8-10th, the district hosts the Fashion in Film Festival.
Fashion in Film Festival is a three-day festival that includes film screening sessions, that sit on this specific theme; talks and panels about the connection between fashion, film and art. This major event is presented with the collaboration between Miami International Film Festival and Miami Design District.
The purpose behind the Fashion in Film Festival sits on the establishment of a dialogue between cinema, fashion and art, as different but equally important creative areas, that are destined to overlap, and work together in many levels, throughout the times.
The Fashion in Film Festival includes a miscellaneous selection of artist, avant-garde and underground cinema, with documentary films, contemporary fashion films, and many other categories that develop the dialogue between fashion, art and film, that go beautifully hand-in-hand.
This year’s edition is joined by artists, designers and filmmakers such as, Sonia Delaunay, José Rodriguez Soltero, Nick Knight, and many other prestigious artists throughout the three-day festival. Some of the films presented are The Art Of Fashion Film, Rapsodia Satanica, The Enigma Fashion, and others.
