Design Miami 2019 has finally arrived at the capital of design, Miami Beach. This edition states the 15th anniversary, as well as it premieres many significant changes to the amazing event that closes the year on an amazing interior design world. Starting today, until December 8th, the event will take place at the completed Pride Park, facing directly to the entrance of the Art Basel Miami Beach. Between all the exciting collaborations and showcases, we want to mention the installation from Swarovski. In response to the theme “Water”, the brand decided to present a unique installation that explores the extensive work in water stewardship and education.
FENDI has partnered with the Zurich-based design studio Kueng Caputo (Lovis Caputo and Sarah Kueng) to create ten design pieces intended to decorate the exterior colonnade of its iconic headquarters, the Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana, on the Roman outskirts.
Instagram also partakes in the collaboration with Design Miami 2019. Design Miami shares the goal of shining the spotlight on designers whose work reflects these values. Also, they work with Studio Swine to create a gallery that uses air as the underlying structure of the display system.
Maison Perrier-Jouët and Design Miami have collaborated for the past eight years to offer emerging artists and designers visibility on an international platform. As part of this partnership, Maison Perrier-Jouët looks for creative talents, primarily for their capacity to express the cultural heritage.
