This gallery that opened in 2005 under sole ownership focuses on conceptual curatorial models that relate to art historical, cultural, and personal investigations of identity – most of them are people of color and queer. The artists that have exhibitions at David Castillo Gallery are committed to the integrity of their individual histories and studio practices as agents of contemporary climate.
