The Best 4 Rooftop Bars in Miami
The summer just gone, but Miami keeps giving us sunshine days! Miami Design Agenda took same time to enjoy a drink in some Rooftop bars in the city, and there it is: The Best 4 Rooftop Bars in Miami where we had an great experience.
Juvia
With its pretty white-and-purple setting and impressive vertical garden, this indoor/outdoor restaurant and lounge sits on the penthouse level of a South Beach parking garage.
The View: The entire city.
What to Order: The pineapple martini, mixed with Ciroc Peach ($14), and cold smoked sea scallops made with Bloody Mary espuma and crispy pancetta ($18).
Insider Tip: If you’re planning on dinner, nab a reservation well ahead of time as it’s always packed.
Touché Rooftop Lounge & Restaurant
Top Chef star Carla Pellegrino helms the stoves at this sexy Downtown resto-lounge serving a mix of Japanese and Italian dishes. In addition to a cozy dining room, there’s also an outside lounge under a retractable roof.
The View: Bright lights from surrounding Downtown buildings.
What to Order: Touche-tini with Stoli, simple syrup, muddled cucumber and basil ($14).
Insider Tip: On Thursday nights, there’s live music and a prix fixe menu with wood-fired pizza and sushi rolls for $16 per person
C-Level Rooftop Terrace
On top of the tourist attraction we call The Clevelander, this Ocean Drive space is surprisingly chill during the day (compared to the rest of the hotel), making it a perfect spot for sunbathing and people-watching.
The View: Miami skyline and all of South Beach.
What to Order: Cleve on the Beach, with vodka, melon liqueur, Sprite, orange and cranberry juice ($11).
Insider Tip: If you’re looking for more of a scene, go at night when the hotel is packed and the rooftop takes on a life of its own.
La Cote Restaurant
Out back at the Fontainebleau, this two-level venue serves French Mediterranean in a laid-back ocean-side setting.
The View: The Atlantic Ocean and the buzzy pool area.
What to Order: Summer Fling, with Van Gogh melon vodka, fresh watermelon, cucumber essence and fresh lime ($16).
Insider Tip: Go during the day to refuel between beach breaks
