Meet this Palm Beach House designed by James Aman and John Meeks, delivered to art type clients! As you will see, this commission turned out beautifully, filled with art and exquisite decor. Join Miami Design Agenda and take on a tour through these amazing settings, and prepare to be amazed!
First off, let’s begin on this amazing room that shares an abstract painting by Eddie Martinez. it is perfectly embellished with a custom sofa in a Holland & Sherry Ultrasuede and a 1960s side table from Gaspare Asaro, along with a custom vinyl sisal rug, Stark.
In the kitchen, there is a table and chairs by Crate & Barrel, along with an authentic sculpture by Desire Obtain Cherish. To complete this room, there are beautiful artworks on the wall from Donald Baechler.
In the living room, the Ginkgo chair is by Claude Lalanne, and a 1960s cut-glass console is topped with Robert Lee Morris brass sculptures and a framed Yoshitomo Nara artwork. On the antique Chinese cocktail table is a Georg Jensen vase and a silver bowl by Jean Després.
The banquettes and benches are custom made, along with the hand chair that is by Pedro Friedeberg, and the inlaid lacquered cocktail tables are Chinese. The pendants are by Issey Miyake, the ceiling is covered in a Gracie paper, and the custom rug is by Stark.
The lacquer-and–silver leaf four-poster is custom, the sofa and chair are from the 1970s, and the floor lamp is Art Deco, along with the artworks by David Hockney. As you can see, this Palm Beach House is not only a safe haven, but also a kind of “art gallery”!
