Pantone’s Color Of The Year 2020 And Its Inspired Luxury Furniture

eh-dandridge-armchair

For over 20 years, Pantone’s Color of the Year has influenced product development and purchasing decisions in multiple industries, including fashion, home furnishings, and industrial design, as well as product packaging and graphic design. The brand has just revealed that the Color of the Year 2020 is Classic Blue, also known as Pantone 19-4052. Miami Design Agenda brings you everything about the color that will dictate the new design trends for the upcoming year.

A timeless and enduring blue hue, Pantone 19-4052 Classic Blue is elegant in its simplicity. Suggestive of the sky at dusk, the reassuring qualities of the thought-provoking Pantone 19-4052 Classic Blue highlight our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era.

With that mindset, we have selected, in partnership with CovetED, a series of products by some of the world’s top luxury brands that are in the beautiful Classic Blue color, so you can start thinking about how you’ll add this amazing hue into your interior design.

Florence Centre Table by Essential Home

Florence Centre Table features a custom Estremoz marble tabletop. The blue velvet upholstered body creates a rich contrast with the polished brass base, enhancing the juxtaposition of the two vibrant materials. Only 50 cm high, Florence is the perfect center table to use in elegant hotel common areas and lobbies, as well as in more private areas, such as your own modern living room.

Inca Sofa by BRABBU

The Inca Empire was a remarkable civilization known for its brilliantly weaved and colored clothes. Inca Sofa took inspiration from this compelling culture. Upholstered in cotton velvet and with legs in ebony wood veneer with a glossy varnish, this mid-century modern lounge sofa will stand beautifully in a living room set.

Hudson Armchair by Essential Home

Hudson Armchair is probably one of our most classic design pieces. It tends to be sober thanks to its occasional design, but it really stands out because of its leather upholstery. The body structure is produced in solid walnut wood with metal shoes on its legs, made of polished brass. It has a little degree reclining, perfect for a zen moment on your living room.

The Mansfield Collection

The Mansfield collection is Essential Homes ultimate mid-century modern masterpiece, combining the retro touch from the velvet with the 60’s sleek lines. It’s composed of an armchair, bar chair, dining chair and sofa, all in an amazing classic blue atop a sophisticated swivel polished brass base. Its iconic low-slung and crescent shape make it look like a dislocated piece right from the Mid-century Mad Men era.

Ibis Counter Stool by BRABBU

Ibis are beautiful birds, known for their long slim legs. The Ibis Counter Stool was inspired by this natural elegance, with all the refinement of velvet in a unique upholstery piece.

Heritage Collection by Boca do Lobo

Hand-painted-tiles have gained a privileged place in architecture throughout the centuries. Portugal has adopted them like no other country has and in order to honor the Portuguese hand-painted tiles, Boca Do Lobo created Heritage Collection. These pieces present a different number of layers, where each one tells a different story.

Monochrome Console by Boca do Lobo

A demonstration of both imagination and strong design skills, combined exceptional craftsmanship, the Monochrome console is a remarkable piece that stands out in any room or setting. It expresses a leading edge outlook though it’s distinct shape and color. Available in purple and electric blue, the Monochrome transmits attitude and spine.

Pluto Rug by Rug’Society

A design inspired by the image of Pluto, the ninth and smallest planet in the solar system, is composed primarily of rock and ice. The representation in shades of blue symbolizes the ice, the stain presented through circles of different colors represent all the other planets that are part of the solar system.

Miró Rug by Rug’Society

Miró rug with a bold graphic design and a creation without limits, we have developed a very coherent collection where we can show through noble materials, graphics and patterns different and unusual. A 100% handmade product that transforms the comfort and beauty of your project.

Surma Rug by BRABBU

Surma is a panethnicity residing in South Sudan and southwestern Ethiopia. They have a fierce culture that includes stick fighting called Donga. This brings great prestige to men and they are very competitive and fearless about a dangerous injury. Inspired by these powerful battles and brave warriors the SURMA rug is born, brave and strong, in hand-knotted dyed wool, bringing strength to your space.
