A ‘New York minute’ is to punctual as Miami time is to late, but with the launch of Tiffany & Co.’s new Tiffany watch collection, hopefully the Magic City can get on Big Apple time.
Charles Lewis Tiffany, Tiffany & Co. founder, is the inspiration behind the newest collection of timepieces. While Breakfast at Tiffany’s might have brought popularity to the iconic jewelry store, it was Mr. Tiffany who back in 1853 unveiled the nine-foot Atlas clock above his store that came to serve as the clock that kept New Yorker’s lives running on time and coined the phrase a ‘New York Minute’.
It also put Tiffany on the map as a watchmaker too. While that same clock still stands above the Fifth Avenue flagship, today people rely on Tiffany wristwatches all over the world including the newest additions, The CT60 named after Charles Tiffany and the East West collection.
The CT60 watches are available in three styles – one with a calendar, one with a chronograph and the third with three hands. The first two come with leather bands in brown, black or blue and the latter, with a bracelet option.
The new collection also includes Tiffany East West and features a rectangular shape crisply defined in stainless steel and a black, white or blue dial.
