The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is situated on Brickell Key, Miami. Providing the best luxurious services in hospitality the 326-room waterfront hotel opened in November 2000 and is managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
Premeditated as one of the most prestigious projects in Miami, the hotel is strategically placed between the financial district and the airport, amongst many other monumental locations. It has for four consecutive years won the award Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star due its astounding curved nature and design.
Characterised by its contemporary design, Mandarin Oriental hosts 326 deluxe rooms which were all renovated back in 2010. The hotel also counts with a tri-level rejuvenation spa, a fitness centre, an Oasis Beach Club with a private beach, an enormous swimming pool, exclusive shopping experiences at Karma and Shanghai Tang boutiques, a jogging trail which besieges the island, the waterfront Peruvian restaurant La Mar which was developed by Gastón Acurio, a MO Bar and a lounge area, amongst countless other amenities that are bound to delight anyone.
The spacious guest rooms are quite peaceful and methodically decorated through the display of the cosmopolitan lifestyle and elements from multiple cultures, such as the Asian-styled bamboo hardwood floors in the suites, or the Spanish marble bathroom tiles. As a result, the interiors exude sophistication and tranquillity.
The Hotel grants the most enthralling views over the Atlantic Ocean, the Biscayne Bay, and the Miami Skyline.
As stated before, the Oasis Beach Club has a private beach and displays glamorous cabanas incorporated with flat-screens and flush furniture.
Combining elements from the East and the West, the Spa provides the most holistic treatments and unique experiences to the guests. Each space has its own sequence of rituals and treatments which are influenced by the conventionality of life and oriental methods and traditions. Within the spa facilities, there are 18 rooms, six private suites, and an exclusive Beauty Room.
The Hotel has the finest dining services with two waterfront restaurants, La Mar (depicted in the pictures) and Azul. The first one was created by celebrity chef, Gastón Acurio and provides the best dishes from Peruvian cuisine in an all-day dining experience. The former which was designed by Tony Chi and Associates of New York is a five-star restaurant with a very vibrant ambience highlighted by New American cuisine.
