Meet the future hospitality breakthrough in Miami Beach, the Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Hotel! Right next to the brand new Miami Beach Convention Center, this amazing hotel already is the best bet for future guests that visit Miami on leisure or work, especially if you attend Miami Art Basel and Design Miami.
This hospitality project is set to have 800 rooms through 17 stories, and it will be one of the largest hotels in the Miami area. It will have a resort-style pool deck designed by EOA, meeting space and an exclusive pedestrian bridge to the convention center. On a more sustainable note, they are planning to have a Rainwater collection and solar panels.
David Martin of Terra Group and Jackie Soffer of Turnberry are the developers of this project, while Bernardo Fort-Brescia’s Arquitectonica is the architect. Part of the team is also Craig Robins of Dacra, who is the visionary behind the Miami Design District and helped revive Miami Beach’s Art Deco District in the 1990s. To finalize Stonehill Taylor also plays a big part which is designing the hotel’s interior lobby and lounges, ballroom and meeting rooms, hotel rooms and all common areas.
Hotel amenities are expected to include 12 floors of guest rooms offering views of Miami Beach, two floors of meeting spaces and ballrooms that will complement the Convention Center. There’s also an elevated sky bridge that will enable event attendees to move freely between the hotel and Convention Center in a climate-controlled, art-filled corridor.
Plans also include landscaped pedestrian promenades on surrounding streets, bike-sharing stations, dedicated ridesharing pick-up, and drop-off zones, and direct access between the Convention Center and Lincoln Road. The project’s resiliency and sustainability measures such as the solar panels and rainwater collection are the standout features of this next incredible hotel that is Grand Hyatt Miami Beach!
