EXHIBITING AT THE SHOW
Art basel sectors are carefully defined to provide opportunities for visitors to see many types of exhibitions and strongly rooted in the principle that galleries play an essential role in the development and promotion of visual arts.
The artwork shown at Art Basel in Miami Beach is spread across nine show sectors, each of which has a particular focus, as well as its own application process.
Each sector of Art Basel has its own application, which you can download in pdf format during the open application period.
Art Basel Selection Committee for the Miami Beach show is made up of prominent art gallerists, who make their final selections based upon criteria that remain consistent from year to year. Through this rigorous selection process, Art Basel ensures that our galleries present work of the highest quality.
Each year, new galleries join veteran galleries at Art Basel, creating an ever evolving exhibition of the finest work in Modern and contemporary art. To see the full gallery list for the 2014 edition, click here.
