Durban Segnini Gallery is a Miami Based art gallery that specializes in contemporary painting and sculpture.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela founded during the 70’s by Cesar Segnini, they later decided to open another gallery in Miami in 1992. Their exhibitions are mainly focused on artists that work with abstract expressionism, constructivism and abstraction. Here are some of their exhibitions:
This 86 year old abstract artist is one of the most prolific national artists to create works for public spaces in Venezuela. Winner of the Armando Reveron Award.
Originally from Pernambuco, Brasil and later on moved to Paris, France. His works are part of the collections of major museums and private collections in Brazil and abroad, as the MADI Museum of Dallas, USA. Jaildo Marinho makes a permanent dialogue with constructivism. His sculptures in white marble from Carrara and Thassos, have geometric shapes, some with the use of color in acrylic paint.
Beto Volder studied at the National School of Fine Arts “Manuel Belgrano”, Buenos Aires, 1986-1989. He is a plastic artist who works with geometric abstraction. His work transmits us a sense of gesture in motion, almost like he captures it as a form frozen in time. His objects are referred to as being “neo-concrete” .
