As a high-end design forum acknowledged by design experts far and wide, Design Miami/ Basel has revealed its recent collaboration with luxury travel company Indagare for worldwide design tours.
Indagare is a full-service luxury travel company, offering tailor-made trips, first-hand travel reporting, preferred bookings, and VIP access to expert-led tours worldwide. Indagare supplies its clients with thorough, verified individual journey plans to hundreds of diverse locations around the world. Indagare connects them with other passionate travelers and offers insider access even in remote locations, even putting them in touch with native or longtime residents who have all the best information. The Design Tours partnership will include this feature, among others more.
These tours will include destinations such as Guadalajara, Venice, Helsinki, Santa Fe, and others, leading to a fuller, next-level luxury experience for patrons, collectors, and design enthusiasts, from the point of leaving their very homes until the end of their stay within the grounds of Design Miami/.
Developers claim that this initiative will create “new, exciting ways to experience collectible design, art and architecture found in private homes, museums, galleries, and studios in cities around the globe“.
Since 2005/2006, this program has been put in place in Miami Beach, Florida and Basel, Switzerland, but never premiered worldwide. It will now, however, hoping to unveil new, up-and-coming designers and promote their work, as well as to offer some highlights into the value of international urban centers’ “design aspects and historical contexts”.
Without a doubt, this Tour Program only goes to further reassure us all of Design Miami’s position as a major contributor to the world of luxury design, a promoter of trade and networking in this line of business, and a stage for some of the most commendable artistic creations ever seen.
