STK is a tucked-away haven of throwback tunes, eclectic cocktails, beautiful people and the most mouthwatering “little” burger you’ll ever bite into. Miami Design Agenda spent a great time in STK Hotel in Miami Beach. Let us show the Best Happy Hour we have experienced.
STK is an ultra chic carnivore’s paradise. Design motifs, like the big installation on the ceiling resembling the rib cage of a large animal, carry through the theme of the name and conjure an undeniable air of carnal, animalistic sex appeal. In fact, everything about STK is sexy and sleek, from the dark and minimal decor to the beautiful waitresses dressed smartly in form-fitting black. In the background, the soundtrack alternates from sultry disco classics, like A Taste of Honey’s “Boogie Oogie Oogie,” to the thick, pulsating electronica you might hear in an underground lounge.
During STK’s happy hour, which takes place Monday-Friday from 6-8 p.m., you can sample a collection of craft cocktails, house wines and small bites for $8 a piece. While the portions may look small at first glance, the flavors of the dishes are so rich you may only need two or three plates to walk away feeling surprisingly satisfied. Plus, the Lil’ Brg and Tater Tots are so good, it would be a sin to go through life without ever trying them.
