Abby Modell exhibited her contemporary glass art at the 14th Annual Architectural Digest Home Design Show.
Abby Modell’s new ‘Galaxy Collection’ features her three dimensional wall art and sculptural objects. The collection encompasses her vision of contemporary glass by capturing the viewer’s imagination of modern forms within the work.
The artist plays with depth and perception by adding mirrored finishes to many of the pieces. Focused on transparencies and light within the objects, Modell creates work that is inspired by the natural swirling formations of the stars, planets, and the infinite dimension of the night sky.
The modern shapes, and intriguing textures allow the viewer’s eye and mind to go on an imaginative journey of discovery with each unique work. The ‘Galaxy Collection’ features her three dimensional wall art and sculptural objects.
