It’s summer time! Miami Design Agenda is still enjoying Miami Lifestyle. We already presented you some of the best hotels in Miami, but a few days ago we had the pleasure of staying in Fontainebleau, where we taste on of the best experiencse when it comes to luxury hotels.
It was by one this hotel’s spectacular set of pools that James Bond and Golfinger sat for a heated game of gin rummy. And the hotel is just as glamorous as it was then. The interiors have Jeffrey Beers’s signature. The New York based interior designer revitalized this historic hotel, the Miami retreat for Hollywood’s elite during the mid-20th century, honoring the original 1954 design of famed architect Morris Lapidus while updating it for the sophisticated guest of today.
Every step you take through the hotel lobby makes you feel true luxury allied to the unique Miami vibe. The hotel facilities offer a wide range of services and experiences
During the day, you can relax by one the 9 pools available and choose your own cabana or sun loungers, or just go to the private beach and immerse yourself in those warm clear waters. Then go to the phenomenal spa and prepare your body and soul for the night ahead. You may even have a personal shopper to work the look for later.
We chose the Hakkasan, where we tasted crispy almond prawn crowned by an exotic fruit consommé. Chef Jian Heng Loo is definitely in our world’s top chefs list. After this fine dining experience, enjoy yourself in one of the hottest nighclubs in town: the Liv.
Designed by Francois Frossard, who also designed other top nighclubs in Miami such as the Mokai, Liv has a voyeuristic design. You can see the entire venue from everywhere you are standing while enjoying the lavish decor throughout the space and partying as if there was no tomorrow! Celebrities may be having a drink next to you.
Let us know if you already have been there, if not, you shoud come and enjoy as much as we did 🙂
