The show was a succes and began on the 12th of February with a VIP night, you could enter but only with a VIP ticket. The baby sister to Art Miami also had some local galleries such as Damien Hirst, Botero, and Keith Herring, they for sure kept the novices occupied.
The most famous artwork at Art Wynwood was from the Waterhouse & Dodd Gallery out of New York, showcasing artist Jean François Rauzier’s photo collages of the numerous Wynwood Walls. Massive 58-by-98-inch murals collect the many walls throughout the neighborhood in what might best be compared to a photograph of Brazil’s notorious favelas.
We let you appreciate some pictures of the event in case you didn´t had a chance to go there. This is, for sure, one of the best art shows in Miami!
