Villa Vizcaya was once the estate of James Deering, and now is the known Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Built between 1914 to 1923, has the architectural influence of the Mediterranean Revival style with baroque, Italian Renaissance and Italian Renaissance Revival style. It’s open to the public, where you get to admire all of its architecture, that is completely stunning and one of a kind.
2. Venetian Pool
Venetian Pool is a public swimming pool located in Coral Gables, that was built in 1924. Designed on the inspiration of the which Mediterranean Revival style, it includes a venetian style bridge and traditional mooring posts. It’s amazing to gaze at this architectural masterpiece, and also to take the time to relax by the pool.
3. Miami Beach Architecture District
Culturally known as the Miami Art Deco District, the Miami Beach Architectural District is located in South Beach, and it is also know as the district of the massive mansion of Gianni Versace. Artists such as Albert Anis and Henry Hohauser were the most famous architects, within this area.
4. Ocean Drive
Ocean Drive it’s a road that is mostly known for its Art Deco hotels, restaurants and bars, that already made several appearances in movies and tv shows. It is included in the Miami Beach Architectural District, and it also stands out for its architectural buildings.
Miami Design District is a district that’s exclusively dedicated to innovative fashion, design, architecture, and many other experiences that are out-of-the-box, as the own concept of the district suggests. It is the district for more than 100 art galleries, showrooms, luxury fashion stores, bars, and many other spaces.
