The City of Miami Beach is marking its 100th anniversary with a centennial weeklong celebration that culminates with Hard Rock RISING – Miami Beach 2015 tomorrow!
The free all-day oceanfront music festival located on the sand at Eighth Street and Ocean Drive will feature headliners Andrea Bocelli, Gloria Estefan and Barry Gibb.
Starring some of the most beloved and acclaimed performers in the world, headliners of Hard Rock RISING – Miami Beach 2015 will be joined by artists whose work has contributed to Miami Beach’s cultural tapestry. They include: official DJ of the Miami Heat, DJ Irie, English guitarist and singer songwriter Dave Mason, Grammy award-winning musician Jon Secada, Jamaican reggae and hip-hop artist Ky-Mani Marley, jazz flautist Nestor Torres, Miami Beach jazz vocalist Nicole Henry, and Jamaican reggae band Third World — all under the musical direction of multi Grammy award-winning producer Rudy Perez. Chris Blackwell, founder of Island Records and major contributor to Miami Beach’s music scene, will be honored at the event.
